Tube feeding

  • Engineered for Enteral Use – Reason has been carefully designed to meet tube feeding requirements, including viscosity, osmolality, nutrient value, and free flow through the tube without risk of blockage.
  • Smooth-Flow Design – Works even with smaller diameters, such as 6.5 French feeding tubes.

Nutrient supplement required

  • Reason is an incomplete formula, as it does not contain all essential vitamins and minerals. This is intentional to enhance palatability and support patient compliance. To make Reason a complete source of nutrition, a daily multivitamin with minerals should be added.

Hang time

  • Based on the ASPEN guidelines, Reason meets the criteria for:
  • 8-hour hang time in the inpatient setting.
  • 12-hour hang time in the home setting.
