Reason Health was founded by Dr. Dhagash Joshi, a California based practicing physician, in 2016. Dr. Joshi was inspired by a young patient struggling with gastrointestinal (GI) cancer who found it difficult to maintain his weight and nutrition with nutritional supplements currently on the market.
Determined to help this patient and others struggling to gain weight in a healthy way – those experiencing weight loss due to diseases and other health conditions – Dr. Joshi assembled a team of expert dietitians, food scientists, and fellow physicians.
